I play online everyday anywhere form 3-5 hours....I try to get 30 hours in per week.....I end up around 85% of the time, even 10%, and down 5%...

In the last two weeks I have hit a skid that is ridiculous...I have not hit a flush, had pocket KK or AA and it seems when I do get a strong hand someone else has flopped something a little stronger....Also if I have a strong hand and bet accordingly pre flop no one stays in because they have nothing...

It almost seems that the software has singled me out to lose by giving me no hands or draws and having people out draw me every time with weaker hands...

Do sites try to redistribute the money so people who have been losing stay and have something to play with so the site can keep getting larger rakes???

This seems to not be coincidence as things have been happening to much, if you know what I mean...

I would appreciate anyone's insight and opinion on this....

At any respected site, I doubt if what you are saying could be true.

Think you are just experiencing a normal drought, which happens in the game of poker.

Stay focused, but if you feel the software is not on the up and up, consider playing someplace else.

Just part of poker. Everyone goes through it and when you do you can't help but question if there is something more to it than pure coincidence. It happens though, just as big runs of good fortune do occur. Keeping stats are an important part of playing online. I suggest getting some software like www.pokertracker.com . It will help you analyze your game and what is/isn't working for you. I would doubt you are able to be up 85% of the time while being down only 5% of the time. Even the best players lose more often than 1 in every 20 sittings.

I find a change of sites usually is good for this prob....i bounce around a lot changing places like most guys change tables...but i have to say ive had this same deal at Party Poker for like 6 months now....cannot buy a playable hand and when i do its either UTG or i get no callers...im sure ill try em again one day but for now ill stay with my...hmm let me go count....other 10 rooms..was 12 but ive removed SIA and Pokerworld from my computer as they are both unplayable

Try Poker Stars....im getting a real fair shake there and always have..

I can't buy into the "its rigged" argument. Party Poker makes an absolutley obscene amount of money. How much would they stand to lose if it ever got out they were jacking around with their players? They have a perfect setup, they risk 0, does not matter who wins and loses.

DG not implying it being rigged, just they want to take from the better players so the bad players will stick around longer and pay the rake...

Just think the software goes into patterns for players that's all....I mean the high's and low's are anything but subtle....

I know this has been said a thousand times but it doesn't seem to get through.

You play many more hands per hour online than live. So if you have been playing your whole life live and online for the last couple of years it is going to seem weird. Every time something funky happens in live play I laugh at what the comments would be online, "thats UB for you, you got bodogged..etc."

I am not going to be a fool for either side of the argument because nobody knows for sure. For the most part you can analyze your play and either chalk it up to a bad run or a bad play.

Peteep the 85% is for the last 6 months, I have been getting better and look for the soft tables..If I don't like the table I quickly leave...

That is why it is so high, as soon as a table turns or the "easy" people are busted or leave I follow .....
